The Canopy

I snapped these photos while waiting for my buggy to emerge from the auto wash today, it was time for her bath. I used the iPhone7. The colour version is via the ProCamera app, the Black & White photo is via the Lenka application. Tonight I attended the monthly meeting for the Ham Radio club I recently joined. The meeting runs from six PM to nine PM, far too long for me but I did meet several people and got some phone numbers and call signs, let the friendships begin! More photos coming!

The Hand Washing Station

My father works on his antique autos frequently which is why he installed this nice hand washing station a few years ago. The mailbox is used as storage for paper towel and soap to keep it out of the rains. Two photo versions! I hope you all had a dandy weekend, today I’m heading for a new parking spot close to the airport today to try shooting photos from a different angle. Thanks, Google Earth for showing me this new place I hadn’t noticed before.

Antique Auto Tour

This is a photo by me from two years ago while on an antique auto tour/trip. Dozens of many types of antique autos were on this really fun tour through South Georgia and Northern Florida. I don’t recall what the camera was but it would likely be an older model iPhone I owned. One of the handsome old dudes in this photo is my father!

Monsoonal Clouds Over The Spring Mountains

Three quickies with the Nikon from today. The next few days will supposedly bring us more rain to Las Vegas Valley, I sure hope so! I really miss those soaking Thunderstorms in Michigan. But not the snow. I had a nice chat with my upstairs neighbour lady this afternoon, her and her boyfriend are from Montana and have been here for a couple years. They are considering moving back north as the Vegas summers seem to be too much for these Yanks. But I’m a Yank too but one who loves the desert heat.

I hope they don’t move as they have been good neighbours for a year now, even with two active dogs. I uploaded a video earlier today of the storms drifting very slowly eastward, it was nice to ear the thunder which isn’t audible on the video. I really want one of these gully washers to dump rain on my place! I hope you like the photos.  😆
