Lake Mead – In Need

Lake Mead is in dire need of water! Yesterday I drove to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. By driving through this area, you will get a far better understanding of how extremely low the water level is in this lake today. It’s really sad to see this. Perhaps my being from a northern state makes this experience a bit more intense but this affects everyone of course. If you can’t see the changes in ground level, sharp drop offs where the water should be then try to imagine the water being there. In some photos, the waterline is very obvious. There are twenty four photos in this set.
