Around Town Today

Nine photos via the Nikon D3300 today. The previous two or three days have delivered a good bit of rain to the valley which we need so much. As you likely know, California has been flooded bigtime, and the mountains between California and Nevada seem to keep us dry.

I suppose that’s why the Mojave Desert exists right? I’m a bit tired of the near constant cloud cover too, it seems like this winter has seen many more overcast days than last winter – I want my summer sun back dangit!! Oh yeah, those 100+ degree days!

About my blood pressure – I have been feeling very much better today, amen! My BP is certainly still high but has come down a good bit. I have two new medications to start tomorrow which I am hoping so much will get this problem under control. This is no way to live your life my friends. I’ve been so tired and weak, sleeping a lot too.

Well, I’m off work tomorrow and Monday and have a half-day road trip in mind but am going to wait until the morning to decide to go or not. The last time I drove this trip a couple years ago, the 95 was flooded in a few spots. Doesn’t make the drive any more fun for sure. I hope to get some new photo opportunities on this trip. More tomorrow.

Ummm, OK, only seven photos went up. Such is life!! The other two went on holiday I guess…

  1. Yikes, John, your health sounds like mine! My BP is under control in terms of the highness. Used to be 185/109, now back to 120/90 but they cannot work out how to stop it dropping when I stand up, stand still or sit still for two long. That is a distinctly different challenge to the medical profession.

    1. That’s a different scenario, never heard of that. The patch is working, pressure is down but bot 120/80. Have to keep after this, nothing to mess with. You must be a bit dizzy and weak too. xo

    1. The new meds appear to be working, I suspect it’ll take a day or three for them to fully engage. Thank you for asking, so sweet!! ??
