Tivoli Village And Blood Pressure

On my way home today I grabbed another shot of this gorgeous stores and offices complex with the Nikon. I used Nik and Photoscape X to play with the image. I hope you like this version. Some of you may be aware that I’ve been battling my chronically high blood pressure for a few weeks now. This afternoon I went to my latest appointment with my doctor. I’ve been keeping consistent records daily for weeks now so the doctor can track the pressures.

I am to continue keeping consistent records for the next two weeks, and my dosage has been notched up one notch. In two weeks time I return for the next assessment. If this isn’t brought down in that time, I will be sent to a cardiologist for a full assessment of the heart function, I’ve not had the treadmill test or the ultrasound test in a very long time. I was diagnosed in 2002 with Congestive Heart Failure and have been fine since.

Realistically, it’s possible that my heart function has declined a little bit which will cause changes in my life and life style. Or, nothing has changed in that regard. Time will tell in two weeks time. I just turned 56 and heart issues run in my family so I’ve got to be realistic about medical issues. Crossing fingers and toes!! Hoping everyone has a great week!

  1. Good luck John. I have high blood pressure. I have to exercise and keep the weight down – and the tablets help. It is just a part of getting old my friend. Just have lots of exercise and watch the diet 🙂

    1. Good luck to you too James. I do get lots of exercise at work, it’s very physical. Apparently not enough? I’m considering quitting my job to spend full time getting me back in shape. I can afford to quit but would feel bad about quitting. They really depend on me. I have another doctor appointment in two weeks. My drug dose was changed. iF THE PRESSURE DOESN’T Come down by then he’s gonna send me to a cardiologist. I have a bad ticker since 2002. Hoping things aren’t that bad if you know what I mean.

    1. Thanks Jodi. honestly, I’m a bit scared. This is a serious problem, I’m attacking it as much as I can. A hug for you. ❤️❤️
