I wasn’t planning to go anywhere this afternoon after work but I’d noticed from work that Red Rock Canyon had a very bright haze on it all day which I attribute to the heavy rains yesterday and overnight. Moisture desperately needed, hanging in the cool mountain air. It wasn’t Smoke Fog as I’d supposed from the California fires.
I went home and changed out of my stinky work clothes and headed west for the canyon. So beautiful today, sunny and mid seventies. I shot these photos with my new Nikon D3300 and processed them gently with PhotoScape X. I am totally loving the new camera and the 70-300mm lens I bought for it a few days later. I hope you like them.
