    1. I was very costly but worth every penny. i just got back home from RRC, getting the first test photos ready just now. I’ll pop them up later today. I think it’s late eve for you. The lens is so much better than the Kit lens!! I sincerely appreciate your guidance James. Oh, I purchased the Nikon version, wanted to keep the same brand going.

    1. Thank you so much Karen! ❤️ I will be off work Sunday and Monday, considering a long drive for more photos. I purchased a 70-300 lens to get some better zoom than the Kit lens can deliver. Totally enjoying my new Nikon. 😎

      1. That’s great John, and I am really glad you like your new camera, the 70 – 300 mm is a great lens and you can capture some good bird and flower shots with it too.

        1. It’s easily the best camera I’ve owned. It’s a D3300 which has Auto, but I don’t use it. My intention is to move away from using Auto mode. My friend James recommended the 70-300 lens. I did some research on the differences in lenses and found that I agreed with James’ suggestion for this particular lens. I can see where the Pros spend many thousands of dollars on lenses. I probably won’t need another lens, considering my needs. Here is James’ website.
